Harmonograph II (2014)
Reclaimed wood, aluminum, steel, acrylic, ink and paper
In collaboration with Alyssa Moxley.
Three-pendulum structure that creates drawings based on the ration and rotation of each pendulum. The ratios in turn creates frequency relationships, and a visual representation of the mass and motion of the structure. This pendulum apparatus produces Lissajous curves, which are employed in displaying harmonic motions frequently displayed on oscilloscopes.
